Description

Height: 18 centimeters, Width: 24 centimeters, Depth: 16 centimeters

Brass and glass double socket wall light. This sconce is constructed from 5 pieces of thick glass attached with brass screws to a brass frame. Very soft and decorative shine. Wiktor Berndt made these lights in several sizes and colors of glass. Good condition with no chips, scratches or damage to any of the glass prisms. No screws missing and everything well attached. The brass parts are unpolished and show some brass patina. Should you prefer the brass shiny you can remove the glass pieces and polish.

Wiktor Berndt joined Flygsfors glassworks in 1955 to design light fixtures and art glass, and he would become Flygsfors second most well known designer. Before he came to Flygsfors, he studied at Källströms and then in Murano, Italy. In 1956, when Paul Kedelv left the company, Wiktor became the chief designer, and he continued as the chief designer until he left in 1974.

Standard E 14 light bulb sockets.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
