Enameled industrial pendant light. France 1950s

Gracefully shaped French industrial light in enameled thick metal. The narrow top of the shade has hand made vent perforations were light exits. This kind of lamp would have been placed in a worksop or perhaps a stable. It has been carefully taken apart and cleaned. The original brass and porcelain light bulb socket has been cleaned and put back together and the lamp has been fitted with a 150 cm new electric cable covered in natural hemp fibre.

Good patinated condition. Standard E27 light bulb socket. Rewired for safety.
