Description

Width: 27 centimeters, Height: 20 centimeters, Depth: 27 centimeters

A medium sized multi layered pendant light in brushed aluminum. It consists of four circular disks of various size and a perforated top cup housing the light bulb socket. The traditional Danish style completely hides the direct glare from the lightbulb sideways and creates a decorative glow as the light from the discs reflects onto each other. The white inside lacquer of the shade also provides a smooth wide shine downwards over a table.

Diameter: 27 cm, Height: 20 cm.

Good vintage condition with only very few signs of age. Standard E27 light bulb socket.

“Toplamper” was started by Tage Sund who was first a salesman in lighting starting in 1957. He then went into partnership with lamp manufacturer Mejlstrøm in 1964 and formed the company MS-Belysning, Mejlstrøm og Sund. When Mejlstrøm bought out MS-Belysning in 1975, Tage Sund started his own company called Toplamper. The factory was located in the Copenhagen suburp of Hvidovre and at its peak, had 80 employees.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
