Description

Width: 50 centimeters, Height: 22 centimeters, Depth: 50 centimeters

Large (50 cm diameter) aluminum pendant light with golden finish. Constructed from one large aluminum disc where light exits at the top creating a decorative glow on the top aluminum cone. Spreads a wide soft neutral light downwards and two brushed aluminum rings around the light bulb protects from glare.

This light is sturdy and straight and has no dents but someone has tried to remove some small paint spots from the largest shade ring. They have used the wrong method and instead of removing the small stains they have scratched the surface as seen in the last photo. This shows clearly in daylight at a certain angle but is not very visible from the side when the lamp hangs as intended. The damage is well reflected in the price.

This light is produced by well know Danish manufacturer Jeka Lamps. Standard E27 light bulb.

JEKA Lamps, which was also called Jeka Metaltryk, was started by the designer Kurt Wiborg, who was trained as a metal printer at Georg Jensen’s Sølvsmedie from 1954 to 1959, including 4 years at the artisan school of Copenhagen. The start of JEKA (the name inspired by the Jutlandic statement: “Je ka” I can!) Was in a basement room in Nørrebro in Copenhagen in 1965.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
