Description

Width: 42 centimeters, Height: 25 centimeters, Depth: 42 centimeters

A large multilayered pendant light created by Kurt Wiborg. It consists of six discs in different sizes creating a wide soft light projection down over a table as well as a decorative light effect as each disc lights up the one below. The light has a matte white powder coating. This is not a thin light weight aluminum light but a sturdy and quite heavy construction.

Great condition with almost no signs of ware.

Standard E27 light bulb socket.

JEKA Lamps, which was also called Jeka Metaltryk, was started by the designer Kurt Wiborg, who was trained as a metal printer at Georg Jensen’s Sølvsmedie from 1954 to 1959, including 4 years at the artisan school of Copenhagen. The start of JEKA (the name inspired by the Jutlandic statement: “Je ka” I can!) Was in a basement room in Nørrebro in Copenhagen in 1965.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
