Description

Width: 45 centimeters, Height: 40 centimeters, Depth: 45 centimeters

Le Klint model 172 is perhaps the most known pendant light from Danish lamp manufacturer Le Klint. It is often referred to simply as the “Le Klint light”. It was created in the mid 1960s when Jan Klint, managing director at Le Klint asked the young architect Poul Christiansen to come up with a new design that was different from everything on the market at the time. Since then there has been huge quantities of lamps constructed from inspiration of this one.

The light is made from hand folded and stitched plastic sheets.

A very decorative light with a stunning light effect well suited in the centre of any living room.

LE KLINT is a lighting company in Odense, Denmark established in 1943, but the story of the company dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when a hand pleated lamp shade was folded to fit a paraffin lamp both designed by architect and master of engineering P.V. Jensen-Klint.

Good vintage condition with only a few signs of use No breaks or dents. Standard E27 bulb socket. New cable and lamp socket.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
