A pair of wall lights/sconces from “British Home Store” BHS. The light consists of a tube with high gloss chrome finish on the outside and orange inside. When lit they give a stunning fire like shine from the centre opening as well as a long orange shine upwards and down along the wall. Typical “space age” design.
These lights should be used with silver tipped light bulbs as seen in the images. They are not hard to find online or in shops but perhaps not as common as your average light bulb. These lights will be delivered with one pair of light bulbs.
The lights are marked BHS British made. Designer is unknown. BHS or British Home Store has manufactured and sold lighting products since 1928.
Good condition with only minimal scratches in the chrome noticeable in close up inspection. No dents. There is some paint coming off on the white metal base on one of the lamps as seen in the last image. This is not visible when the lamps are mounted on a wall.
Standard E27 light bulb socket. New cables, switches and plugs for safety.
