A pair of space age bedside wall lights ÖIA typ S20. Race car inspired black metal fork holders with perforation and plastic shade protectors in the front opening. Lamps shades in brushed golden aluminum. Made by veteran lamp manufacturer ÖIA later known as Örsjö Belysning.
Good condition with some minor scratches. Sturdy adjustable wall mount placks included. The lamps can be adjusted up, down and turned around.
Wall plugs are changed for safety. Standard E14 light bulb socket. The length of each lamp is 15 cm and the front opening is 8 x 10 cm wide.
With over 60 years of lamp manufacturing experience, Örsjö Belysning knows exactly what is required to meet the criteria for an exclusive design lamp. Örsjö was founded in 1948 in the Småland community of the same name. For many years, Örsjö was a successful, but rather anonymous factory that produced metal parts and various lamp parts. The big breakthrough came in 1997 when they changed their name from ÖIA to Örsjö Belysning and started collaborating with well-known designers such as Jonas Bohlin, Matti Klenell and Claesson Koivisto Rune. This was a huge turning point and the start of the design development that would take Örsjö Belysning to where they are today.
