The wall light Adagio was created by Katja Resting in 1968 for Danish producer Fog & Mørup. It’s a minimalistic brass colored aluminium construction with a beige speckled linen shade. The light bulbs hang downwards from the closed but transparent top of the light making the light stronger down along the wall. The shade creates a warm soft light in the room.
One of the sconces has been used with a too strong light bulb that have burnt the inner protection of the fabric slightly. This is however not seen unless the lamp is detached from the wall and inspected from the back. The actual fabric is not damaged but you can find minor stains at close examination. The light bulbs of the 1960s and 70s got very warm and today there is no danger to use these sconces with bulbs upp to at least 60 wats.
Standard E27 light bulb. Only sold as a pair.
