Pedant light “Facet-Pop” by Louis Weisdorf for Lyfa. Denmark 1970s

Designed by Danish architect Louis Weisdorf and issued by Lyfa in 1970, the Facet-Pop is constructed from 18 castellated metal strips, identical in shape but in three different tones of colour, woven together to form a cylinder measuring 18 cm in diameter and 27 cm in height. Light emerges through small gaps between the strips, revealing the interior colours while protecting the eye from glare. The Facet-Pop’s color schemes were created by Danish artist Richard Branderup.

Four different color versions were made. This is the orange one.

Great condition. Standard E27 light bulb socket.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
