Pendant light Go-Go by Dan Heersø for Vitrika. Denmark 1970s

Description

A very sturdy and well built pendant light constructed by 2 metal discs with red lacquer on the outside and white insides to give a neutral exposure downwards but a glowing orange effect to the side. The model is called Go-Go and was created by the main designer of Vitrika, Dan Heersø.

The Danish lighting producer, Vitrika started in 1948, as a trio consisting of a salesman, a designer and a craftsman began designing and producing lighting. The name Vitrika – which also was the company motto – is made up of the Danish words “Vi tre Kan” (directly translated: We three can).

Standard E27 bulb socket. Some scratches and marks in the lacquer but no bends. Rewired for safety.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
