Description

Width: 40 centimeters, Height: 20 centimeters, Depth: 40 centimeters

A rare and large pendant light in golden brushed aluminum with a glare protection consisting of 3 rings in avarious sizes. This is a light made for low placement over a table and gives a wide soft light downwards. The golden rings reflect onto each other creating a golden light effect sideways. The perforation at the top creates another effect glow onto the cylinder housing the light bulb socket.

The lower ring has suffered some light corrosion as well as a few spots on the top cylinder. See detailed photos. The lamp is straight and sturdy and has no dents. The corrosion damage is well reflected in the price.

The lamp is rewired with a new grey textile cable. Standard E27 light bulb socket.

Teknika A/S or Teknika Mekaniske establishment was a Danish lighting and machine manufacturer from 1943-1971 started and managed by Erik Jensen. The company started as a producer of bicykle pumps but was paused during WW2. After the war, when it was once again possible to purchase metal tubing Jensen decided to start producing interior lights.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
