The pendant light “Symfoni” by Preben Dal came out in the first half of the 1960s in several different sizes and versions. It is an enchanting origami-like pendant light comprised of white rhomboid shaped steel elements – all carefully arranged to form a large five sided diamond with a dark gray band to emphasize the widest point, the middle. The arrangement of white steel elements narrows towards the top and bottom, thus gives way for emitted light to escape between the white elements.
This one is the medium sized P017. Good condition with only a few signs of wear. Producer label still intact.
This appear to be the only light designed by Danish architect Preben Dal and was the big break trough for Hans Følsgaard Elektro. Today this has become one of the most sought after danish lights from this period.
It takes a standard E27 light bulb.
I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
