Description

Width: 42 centimeters, Height: 20 centimeters, Depth: 42 centimeters

Classic red PH 4/3 from the 1970s. It has straight shades and is stable with its original rivets. The light bulb cover cup is still on. (These are very often lost)

Good condition with a few marks in the lacquer as seen in the detail photos.

Poul Henningsen’s legendary design stems from his own, brilliant three-shade system from late 1920s. Poul Henningsen original design from this period was highly functional, some people might even call it ‘Industrial,’ targeted specifically towards young students.

Poul Henningsen was born in Copenhagen by the famous Danish actress Agnes Henningsen. He never graduated as an architect, but studied at The Technical School at Frederiksberg, Denmark from 1911-14, and then at Technical College in Copenhagen from 1914-17.

Rewired for safety with a new white textile cable and original porcelain E27 light bulb socket.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
