Small layered pendant light from Lyskaer. Denmark 1970s

Height: 25 centimeters, Width: 18 centimeters, Depth: 18 centimeters

Small pendant light in 4 layers. Made from thick sheet metal with a matte blood red lacquer. The inside is white in order to project a neutral shine downwards as well as a decorative light that exits between the layers.

The inside of the light has some rust marks as seen in the photos. The outer red side is in better condition with only a few spots. The damage is well reflected in the price. No bends or dents.

Producers label intact.

Lyskær Belysnin (Lyskær lighting) started to produce lamps in 1969. In the late seventies Fog & Mørup merged with Lyfa, two other leading Danish lighting producers. A few years later Lyfa-Fog & Mørup was taken over by Lyskær. The name changed to Lyskær-Lyfa.

Standard E14 light bulb socket. Rewired for safety.

I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
