A small stoneware table lamp by Swedish ceramics master Rolf Palm 1930-2018. A rounded hand turned lamp base with matte brown glaze. singed on the underside.

The shade is made from repurposed 1960s fabric wrapped around a new wire frame. The print is called “Folklore” and was created by Göta Trägårdh. This is the original print from the 1960s, very well kept, free from stains and with the original vibrant colors still present.

Rolf Bertil Ingolf Palm was a ceramic artist born in Höganäs, southern Sweden. As a potter, Palm worked mainly with unique stoneware with an oxblood glaze. His production consists of miniature vessels, vases and humorous small figures in stoneware. Palms stoneware objects are highly sought after by collectors today.

Göta Elisabeth Trägårdh 1904-1984 was a Swedish textile artist. As a visual artist, she painted nature motifs in a strong style and drew from everyday events.
